Re: Emergency Lighting Results at Floor Level

Dear Kolja,

Thank you. This means I will have to insert an anti panic surface for every room <60m2.

Is there a way a room with just a working plane of 0.8m can be shown at 0m in the emergency lighting output without an anti panic surface?

Emergency Lighting Results at Floor Level

Dear Dialux,

The calculation objects/Emergency Light Scene option in the documentation list is very useful for rapid overview of the results. however only results at working plane level are shown. Is there an option for emergency lighting results at 0m/floor level?

Thank you

Emergency Luminaire Reference in CAD Export

Please advise if it's possible to show the emergency luminaire in the CAD export? For example as A/E? or A/Emergency Luminaire?

Thank you

Re: Horizontal Workplane

Thank you for your reply.

Could you please advise how I can change the room workplane to horizontal? I can change a calculation object to horizontal but cannot see an option for the automatic room workplane

Thanks

Horizontal Workplane

Dear Dialux, The workplane within a space is calculated across a perpendicular plane. In Dialux 4, the workplane could be modified to 'horizontal', and the two gave different results. The horizontal was assumed best practice and relevant CIBSE guidance refers to the horizontal plane. Is the fixed pe...

Editing Anti Panic Surface Polygon

Hi, With the release of Evo with emergency lighting capability, I am now migrating from Dialux 4 after 14 years. Unfortunately it appears that editing the anti panic surface is not allowed. When modeling and calculating an atrium with an open staircase for example, the anti panic surface needs to be...
