Problem with importing DWG file

Post by Dzintars.Briljonoks » Mon Oct 22, 2018 1:54 pm

Hello,
Once in a while I have a problem with inserting DWG file in Dialux evo.

Problem - After inserting it - I don't see DWG file lines (sometimes there is one or several lines - but not all project.

It is like they don't exist - although in top left corner "Plans" I can see that there are drawings - and other programms like DWG viewer open these files normally.

I have checked:
units
if all lines and DWG files are marked to be shown
tryed different PCS (my other devices has the same problem with this file)

Maybe someone know solution to this problem?

Dear Dzintars.Briljonoks,

Please be so kind to provide us with the DWG file for further analysis.
It would be of help if you could send us the link to this topic, so that we could better assign this issue. Our email address is 'Support@dial.de'.

Hi Dzintars.Briljonoks,

From your screenshot I can see that the scale is very very small (0,00001m), perhaps it is just a scaling problem. Try Unit meter/centimeter or foot/inch instead.

Best Regards

Dear T.Magenheimer,

Unfortunately I don't think the problem is in scaling. I have tryed scales from (0,00001m - 10m)

But thanks for advice,
Dzintars

Hi Dzintars,

Thank you very much for sending us your DWG file.
The problem is caused by some objects which are positioned far away from the main part of the drawing. We deleted them directly in a CAD program and saved the DWG drawing once again. Afterwards we were able to import this DWG into evo without any problems.

We will send you the modified DWG drawing via email.

Best regards,
DIAL Support Team
