Daylight factors surface

Post by dbur » Sat Dec 19, 2020 10:45 am

Hi all,

I'm doing simple tests with EVO (I'm just coming from Dialux 4).
This CornellBox is giving me good results in lux but where are the results for the daylight factors ? Do I have to insert a calculation surface myself to get them ?
On the image below one could think results are calculated automatically for the DF scene, but when the surface is selected on the right panel, nothing is displayed.
What am I missing ?

Hello dbur,

Usually the daylight factor is calculated directly and output as a value in percent. In the screenshot below you can see the corresponding daylight factor effective area.

Please provide us with the evo project file so that we could check the problem directly in evo 9.1. It would be of help if you could send us the link to this topic so that we could better assign this issue. Our email address is 'Support@dial.de'.

Best regards,
DIAL Support Team
